Pump dewatering projects are all different, and majority require a range of accessories to facilitate optimum pump dewatering and dredging performance. IPR offers a range of pump accessories including specialised hosing for pump dewatering applications, industrial pump fittings and pump couplings, pump flotation devices (PFDs), hose flotation devices (HFDs) and pump control system panels. We also stock a range of tower lights and gensets.

Pump Flotation Devices

Pump Flotation Devices (PFD) suspend and prevent the pump from burrowing into the bottom of the dam, stope or pond during pumping operations. The exterior or outer skin of the PFD, manufactured from low density high strength polyethylene and filled with polyurethane foam, ensures it will not sink, even in the unlikely event of the outer skin being punctured.

Hose Flotation Devices

Hose Flotation Devices (HFD) are used to suspend hoses during pumping applications where either pontoons or barges are used and the hose needs to be suspended above the water, or where hosing is laid across the water instead of around the perimeter of the water. Using a HFD ensures that the hose remains clearly visible protecting it against damage. Our HFDs are designed to accommodate cables that cover the same distance as the hoses, and are available in all common hose sizes.

Pump System Control Panels

We offer custom engineered pump automation solutions for your dewatering applications, and can also supply a range of control panels for all pumping applications, from the most basic pump control panel to a fully automated solution.

Industrial Pump Hosing

A wide range of industrial pump hosing is available in various widths, materials and lengths. The highest quality lay flat hoses are available in 4”,6” and 8” in 3, 7 and 15 bar pressures. All hoses are available with the full range of fittings.

Industrial Pump Fittings

We stock a full selection of pump fittings including:

  • Couplings
  • Quick couplings
  • Hose clamps
  • Check valves
  • Flanges
  • Bends
  • Tandem connectors
  • Collars
  • Zinc anoids

Geotextile Dewatering Bags

Dewatering bags can be used to effectively dewater and contain solids whilst recovering filtrate during dredging and cleaning of catchment dams. Filtration occurs through the percolation of liquid through the textile’s pores, as well as formation of a filter cake on the textile surface, which aids filtration.

Purchasing of a
Dewatering Pump Solutions

Purchasing dewatering pump equipment makes sense where you would like to have outright ownership of the pumps, and wish to reduce the total overall cost of the dewatering pump installation. Large capital equipment such as dewatering pumps build equity over time, especially if the equipment is well maintained. Pumping equipment with long lifespans are assets that will grow the value of your business.

Renting of a Dewatering Pump Solutions

Renting dewatering pump equipment offers several major advantages that can be beneficial. This option is particularly suited for applications with carrying dewatering needs or where only sporadic dewatering is required. The dewatering pump rental option also means that the skill and competent IPR team will hand all equipment maintenance ensuring the installation operates hassle free.
